No the whole manga was not a kiss up to Naruto, everyone mattered, there was actual teamwork not lagging behind with a kunai and people did have motivations other than sucking up to Naruto.

We got an army of Hinatas now, just some people are not shy to opely say they are on Naruto's nuts.

And the chapter before that. And the chapter before that.....This feelings conveyed crap is waaaaaay overdone. I am sick of reading 5 chapters of feelings and regrets shared followed by flashback and then "tune in next week as we go through the emotions and flashback of EVERY flaming ninja on the field"

And don't give me that crap about "it's necessary to sow Naruto's development" or "It's good story telling" it so is not! A chapter here and there like this is fine, but Kishi is just stalling for whatever reason with unnecessary history lessons, flashbacks, and pep talks to the shinobi alliance.

Frankly, it's getting dull! :vincent:

THe manga is called Naruto. It is about Naruto. The whole Manga is for Naruto. They only mater because it has something to do with Naruto. If you believe there is no team work in this war, then you should go back to reading the kiddish part 1.

yep it is really getting dull, but all kishi is doing is to keep the anime on when it gets ended quickly same you would "dame it shouldnt have ended" they are all filler chapters but keep enjoyn the fun its prolonging the anime to a distant time, tho would soon end.

Naruto wank is fine with me. These characters wouldn't be playing a role otherwise. I am pissed at the minimal plot progression, though. A whole chapter dedicated to telling me what I already know. Naruto cares for people and people care for him. The message will get redundant if Kishi keeps this up.

But, alas, I did enjoy the sentiment. Not even going to pretend it isn't biased. It is.

It makes more sense if you read by the volume. A single chapter is suppose to be part of a grand volume, that has a mini plot set up.
