Just checked it out, annnd...yeah, not even close. Ryuji and most of the supporting cast was okay, but Taiga's didn't even come close to her seiyuu, though to be honest, that bar was raised pretty high, so I'm not too surprised there.

T'was getting such good feedback on myanimelist and from most of NBs members but I just can't seem to come to even enjoy this anime.

I dropped it at episode 3, is it even worth picking up again?

Imo you can live without. Not worth it but it's a good anime.

Toradora is a relatively good anime. (I personally didn't enjoy it) It has a strong plot, great characters, and unique situations for the characters to develop. It is above regular romance anime in that regard.

The only caution I can advice is that is you are against things that look like pedophilia. There is no pedophilia in the show, but taiga does look like she is around 8, and to see her acting romantic with other characters that look like they are 29-23, might be disturbing for some. I personally didn't mind it until the kiss scene at the end.

However besides that one flaw, the show has some good merits, and while I didn't enjoy it is was indeed a really good anime, from a critics perspective
