Toph Beifong
Toph Beifong was already blind when she was born and because of that she had to develop her other senses. Toph was also naturally very talented in Doton-jutsus and developed a way to "see" through the use of her Doton

Toph has been described to be rather arrogant at times and toughened but also a caring personality. Toph can also harden her hearth in difficult situations and act cool-headed. Toph is also talented at tactics. Toph often instead of going all-out at first sight experiments and analyses her opponents techniques and tactics. Toph is also fiercely independent, sarcastic, direct, stubborn, and confrontational. She appeared to have the same carefree and adventurous personality as Naruto and she is very tomboyish in the way she acts and dresses, in contrast to the delicate doll her parents saw her as. Toph loves battling and took great pride in her Doton -skills. She appears eager to prove that she was as strong as anyone who could see and once claimed that she was "the greatest Doton-user in the world.

Background Info
Toph was constantly treated condescendingly because of her disability, particularly by her overprotective parents, Lao and Poppy Beifong. She was sheltered by her parents, who believed her blindness made her fragile and incapable of looking after herself. To prove her parents wrong Toph secretly trained her Doton-jutsus and developed her own unique style of fighting. At the age of six, Toph ran away from home into a cave inhabited by badgers. Badgers were the first to find Doton-techniques and taught them to Toph. From the badgers Toph also learned the way to "see" with her Doton-talents. Terrain that impaired Toph's ability to sense vibrations also hindered her abilities, as shown when Toph had some difficulty with sand, describing the vibrations in the earth as "fuzzy". She was able to compress sand into solid rock to gain some temporary footing, but was still unable to accurately aim attacks under those conditions.
