top ten during chuunin exams

2. rock lee
3. sasuke/neji
4. neji/sasuke (would have loved to see this fight)
5. dosu/shino
6. Shino/dosu
7. shikamaru
8. Temari
9. Kankuro
10. kiba (wouldve destroyed naurto if he hadnt farted)

Aaaah Kiba wouldnt of beat Naruto at all, Naruto always had the upper hand due to his willpower and massive chakara reserve.

gaara is a defensive fight and lee is an offensive fight of course lee is going to get more hits on gaara he doenst move he fighting style is to sit back block your attacks and try and one hit KO you after lee used primary lotus gaara was toying with lee

Are you telling me, if Gaara wasn't invincible, he would of have won that fight? Even after Lee would opened the 5 gates? I saw no toying around. All I saw was Gaara get his ass whipped.

aint no if he was as you say "invincible" and he won the fight took an ass beating primary lotus and a 5 gates beating and still got up and crushed lee's left arm and leg...he was truly the ultimate defense

Alright, alright. I always wanted to see a Dosu vs. Gaara fight. Regular Gaara, not full moon hacks Gaara. Ya know, sound vs. sand.

Just wana give some props to the OP for actually posting a thread that caught my eye.

Sick of seeing hundreds of the same threads popping up about Madara, KCM vs. EMS, Itachi > every other character, etc.

Anyway, I think Lee and Neji were probably the strongest fighters in the chuunin exams (other than Gaara because he cheats xD). Just because they didn't win their battles doesn't mean they were weaker than everyone else.

For anyone who has sasuke or lee above neji reread the manga. Even kakashi stated that neji was too much/better then sasuke. And lee admits (even with gates i may add) that neji is still better. Gaara has the shikkau, no one is beating him at that time.
