Sm allows him to fight itachi with his eyes closed.

I LOVE the fact that you added Prime Hiruzen and Real Hiruzen seperately BUT even IF Hiruzen lives up to hype and knows ALL Konoha Jutsu he still is inferior to Naruto, Madara, Kaguya, Hagoromo, Indra, Ashura, Itachi, Shisui and so on

Konan > Tsunade, don't get wrong homie but Tsunade is above her because I think she'll put up a better fight against the people above them both. Konan would probably lose faster to some of the above than Tsunade would which is why she's low but Konan beats Tsunade 8/10 times. As for Mei, it really could go either way, I may go find a debate about it and see if it'll change my mind.

Naruto and Sasuke summonned Hagaromo who gave them his power and there are many other examples. Also, many shinobi base their fighting style on summons while others don't, so how is it fair?

You either do a top list or you don't. There are no betweens.

So at the end of the day I respect your opinion, but until there are any restrictions, it will never be a top shinobi list.

-The Sharingan was able to see an invisible user back in the Gaiden days, I'm banking on the same thing with Muu, and Sharingan sees through genjutsu. I think Kakashi and his clone strategy open an opportunity for a Kamui attack or HideAMole/Raikiri combo. Gai has a harder fight but I think he can manage 5 times out of 10. I just felt that they won't put up as good a fight as others I mentioned above.

-Hiruzen and Kimimaro are debatable, I actually think they're even. While Hiruzen can overwhelm with his elements, clones, decent speed feats himself, he would get outlasted by Kimimaro's superior reflexes and healing. I see Kimimaro closing Hiruzen down and outclassing Enma and Hiruzen.

-I think Shino would outwit and suck Temari dry in the fight. Temari might get cocky but Shino is always thinking ahead.
-It can be argued for or against Sakura and Choji. I just felt people like Konan, Lee or Asuma put up better fights then the those two against people above them.

-Lol Lee and Neji would overwhelm Konan in the long run. She doesn't have enough reaction feats to steadily avoid their moves IMO

I'm sorry but that's a really petty way of looking at things. I restricted the jutsu use in battle as a whole. I didn't exclude its existence from the Narutoverse. To exclude it to that extent, there is no such thing as Juubi Jins Madara and Obito (No Gedo Mazou exists), no SM for Kabuto, Naruto, Jiraiya (no summoning animal) and half of Orochimaru's arsenal gets thrown out the window.

Ahh, so it was around 30 where you started feeling iffy huh? I had a lot of trouble after 25 making the list. Do you think the latter 3 you mentioned beat the former 3 you mentioned?

Alright, so I made a list of the top 45 shinobi in the Narutoverse all formed around my opinion. Key word: opinion. Which means no need for flame as this is just for discussion. I was trying to see where I would place a certain character in my list and didn't want to stop at an odd number so 45 it was.


While making this list, I did keep a few things in mind:
-I considered every character at what I felt was their best fighting form in the time that we have seen them in the manga.
-No summoning jutsu was included, including Edo Tensei
-8th Gate Gai was not included because I didn't feel like dealing with the controversy of him technically winning the battle (this can be argued for days). I'd probably put him under current Naruto and Sasuke though.
-The Sage and his direct family were not included (Kaguya, Hagaramo's brother, Ashura, & Indra)
