The Mind's Eye of the Kagura (Karin's sensory technique) is superior in many way's when it comes to sensory.

Plus Karin doesn't have to mound chakra in order to sense.

Onl;y some parts were translated of that guidebook.The Hinata section was translated by a Espanol forum but I never heard of it again but I remember that it mentioned 20 km but take it with a grain of salt

Naruto basically has that with NSE, RSM, and TSM. Although i'm not sure of the scale since he did basically see the entire war with SM alone.

Karin probably does it better though. But if you want a sensor or tracker that can actually keep up with the person they need to find, i'd go with Naruto.

It's a common technique that is actually doable by skilled huntsmen irl, just exaggerated upon in the series

Actually Karin can track speed, give exact distances, genders and village affiliation.
