i take it you do not read the manga.... hashiramas strengths have been shown in that OMG everyone jizzed, he is overpowered,he can control bijuu, his woodstyle jutsus one hit bijuu, too, a genjutsu master with medical ninjutsu that tsunade cannot hold a candle to

so6p needs to be first even if edo madara is your favorite character and after so6p it should be hashi not madara b/c madara himself said only hashi could beat him.

nagato has such a massive range of jutsu that only a fellow rinnegan user would be able to counter and evade them,every one else including hashirama would probably fail to do so, but hashirama is still higher up only because of his healing. can obito wipe out a village or control life and death? i dont think so
hmm , no , if nobody could work out obitos ST jutsu he would be in nagatos place, however; he is still very arrogant and that alone is a weakness he thinks he is god which is evidently not true.

never compare an uzamaki to a uchiha doujustu

The only people who should rank higher than nagato are Obito and edo madara (although i dont count him either) Rinnegan is beastly... cant complain about the list its the same people I would have... Ican see why people are saying j-man can be taken off but frog song is a powerful genjutsu people tend to forget that

Simply because every shinobi mentioned has different strengths and weaknesses. Different abilities making it impossible to have an actual top 10 list created from the Narutoverse.
It's possible to have top 10 lists when it comes to certain categories. Examples would be top 10 fastest or top 10 physically strongest.

ok my list, unbaised and unedited.
1: sage of six paths. this is obvious. if obito is 3-4 of the paths and tyhis guy fought the jyubi then he earns top spot uncontested.
2: hiruzen sarutobi. said to be a god among shinobi and stronger than his predecessors. trained the 3 legendary ninja, we have not seen this man at his peak so i have to take what has been said about him.
3. a close third, almost second. minato namikaze. this man earned the flee on sight order from his enemies and beat obito on the battle of speed. he was a great tactician and was able to use very high level jutsu with no handsigns at a moments notice.
4. hashirama senjuu, same as sarutobi senseii. we have not seen only heard. if it wasnt for the lack of knowlage on him aand sarutobi then he might of been 2. very close shinobi.
5. madara uchiha, doesnt hold all the abilities of hashirama that we know of, he does however suffer from the most vital and horrific flaw in the history of overpowered villains. overconfidance. which will always be his downfall.
6. obito uchiha, not much needs to be said, alot of preperation needed to touch him and at such a high level you need to be equally high to fight on level terms.
7. naruto uzumaki, the power of the toad sages along with kurama. the will to never give up and the stamina and chakra reserves to back them all up. he is a great tactician and although not as fast as his father at using high level jutsu he is able to co-ordinate very well with his clones to make sure he hits his mark.
8. Nagato uzumaki, crushes a major power in a second, made konoha look like a bunch of school children. his immobility is his downfall
9. itachi, such a brilliant mind backed up with his subtle genjutsu along with his MS and sword of totsuka makes him almost unbeatable.

Make your top ten, if edo tensei is not allowed and any biju is inside his jinchuriki. we are comparing all shinobi of all times as if they were all alive now and would fight in a tournament. edo tensei cant be used since we compare also all dead in their living state. all bijus are sinside of their jinchuriki so, gedo doesnt have bijus inside. tobi cant use the 6 edo jinchuriki so and edo madara doesnt exist, only ems madara.

most ppl in hashirama's generation. Example Ginkaku&Kinkaku( sage energy, almost limitless chakra, use the sages tools which were most likely used to stop the juubi)
