Most manga fans read manga online (cheap asses, like me)... Fact.

One Piece sell the most because it's popular in Japan and most of them probably buy their manga. So manga sales doesn't proof who's the most popular wordwide...

this isn't exactly new

... AOT is that high because of the anime everyone went out and bought every single one of the old volumes, if Naruto just exploded this year it would top AOT with ease

I think these sales are Volumes sold not chapters sold so AOT being a monthly makes no diff since most volumes are more or less the same length

They are not of volumes but of chapters.

Sad to see , bleach no there especially since its gotten back to the main plot , and it has been better than naruto , no biased I been watching both since day 1

One piece is #1 as expected

Fairy Tail, Magi, AoT and Hunter x Hunter are also doing good. Dunno what Naruto's doing on that list. Shit became garbage ever since Shippuden.

OT: No Surprise One Piece is number one. Its been that way for years. What I am surprised with is Magi and Attack on Titan. My guess would be that with their recent anime adaptations, Everyone saw them and went out to buy all the volumes. That may explain why the numbers are so high.

It's also surprising to not even see Bleach on the list. Even Fairy Tail passed Bleach.

These lists aren't very useful due to so many people leeching nowadays, and the fact that it is only in Japan.

Still, big ups to Magi getting the fame it deserves.

I figured Hunter x Hunter would be on that list.. I expected second or third.
You really expect it to be on Top 10 list of this year when the manga is constantly on hiatus. Just look at this:

From February 2006 to October 2007 Togashi had been on "sick leave" from his current manga Hunter × Hunter. Hunter x Hunter made its return on October 6, 2007, then quickly went back on hiatus on December 5, 2007. It returned from hiatus on March 3, 2008, only to return to hiatus again on May 8, 2008. After another long break, it was officially announced in Weekly Shonen Jump that the series would once again make its return on October 5, 2008, eventually going on hiatus once more December 3, 2008. Hunter x Hunter returned to Jump on January 4th, 2010 and yet again went on hiatus on May 31st, 2010.
