why the HELL is SAO on that list?! That anime had the worst character development. hell, there was anti-development. Asuna went from a strong female lead to an annoying cliche damsel in distress. And kirito used to be so badass and then when asuna came along he started acting like a dumbass

Same reason the other shows are. None of them are the best. Asuna's case I agree with, but there are lots of anime I've seen with waaaay worse development, but SAO still had a few strong cases of it. And Kirito was still badass (Asuna's presence actually helped him there). As for the shift in personality, as cheesy as it sounds, that's just something love does to people. You saw that green weirdo in the second half, right?

One Piece anime would be A LOT better if the pacing was 2 chapters long. I wouldn't mind a 1 year hiatus for this. No f*cking joke, it's like Toei animation is delusional to the slow pacing.
