He was kinda emo; but he saw his father's dead body in his livingroom; atleast he did not go all "revengeeee" and stuff, he just became someone whose thoughts are fixated in his village; then he became good afterall.
Neji was an ass; but i reread some chapters a while ago; in forest of death when Lee was beaten by sound nins; he said something like "he was our teammate; you are going to pay for it" to the sound nins(he did not beat them up because curse mark Sasuke did that instead); it was not that big of a thing; but he cared for his comrade even in his a**hole self; also he became someone who was willing to die for others; also he fixed his relationships with others instead of s**tting on them.

Kakashi's still a bit of an *******, y'know, being always late and being extremely strict with all of his students

Hinata got it easy due to:

-Being an heir to main branch of Hyuuga clan (which is second strongest in Konoha)
-Being physically attractive and having (.Y.)
-Having a cute little sister to talk to

People won't understand her past was just "cute" compared to others; the others had things like clan massacares, getting orphaned, being mocked, degraded, shunned and despised, death of loved ones, getting excluded by society in their past; Hinata had a father who told her she was weak because of her defeat to almost toodler-sized sibling; and getting ignored by her crush...

Lee and Gay are basically the same character, you couldn't possible fancy Ramen Guy and (wtf) Toad Sage more than, say, Deidara or big-boobied kunoichi (.Y.) from the could village

so you put him instead of sakura? sakura is a noble selfless shinobi who values even complete strangers, is funny, liikeable, heroic and always tries her best.
itachi is a brutal insane monster who is a serial mindrapist, butchered 7 innocent peoiple including a kazekage who sakura indirectly brought back, and caused 4th shinobi world war by doing nothing to help konoha stop akatsuki.

How f*cking dare you. I was even thinking I might get trolled with someone putting sakura first.

what did sakura do to you? i cant think of a more noble and likeable character than her

Welp, there is the little fact of Jiraiya abandoning Konoha (and Naruto) when it needed him the most (Death of Minato). That was a **** move, imho

I tend to judge the characters based on their attitudes, morals, actions and convictions. No way in hell Jiraiya's better than Itachi's

Jiraiya didn't know about the Path that could resurrect the rest until the very end.. Which was pretty important for Naruto to know, otherwise Naruto wouldn't of got nearly as far in his fight with Pain.
