Beating kids and cripples, yes.

01. He "lost" to Sasuke, perhaps his most challenging one-on-one fight on panel.
02. He "lost" multiple times to Kabuto.
03. He needed help against a handicapped Nagato.
04. Needed help to assassinate the Uchiha.
05. Never tried to stop Obito or Akatsuki.
06. He couldn't beat Naruto.
07. He couldn't beat Bee.
08. Can't beat Kakashi without MS, who knew not to look into Itachi's eyes but had a staring contest anyway for some reason.
09. Almost lost to Kurenai's genjutsu.
10. He had all the advantages against kid Deidara.
11. He resisted a dying Orochimaru's soul transfer.
12. He sealed an armless disembodied spirit of Orochimaru with almost no chakra stuck to a growth on Sasuke's neck.

01. Itachi uses underhanded tactics in battle, like ambushes and backstabbing.
02. He runs away and avoids conflict a lot.
03. Genjutsu has a mediocre record.
04. He hasn't beaten anyone with taijutsu.
05. His intelligence is largely an informed ability.
06. His jutsus haven't hurt anyone: Grand Fireball, Water Drill, Exploding Clone, etc.
07. Susanoo has no real feats, but is stated to be his most powerful MS jutsu.
08. Yata is stated to block everything, but only blocked kunais.
09. Totsuka has only "blitzed" cripples.
10. Yasaka Magatama is stated to be his strongest projectile, but is basically giant shurikens.
11. Amaterasu hasn't beaten anyone.
12. Tsukiyomi was resisted the first time it was used and broken the second, giving it a 25% success rate?
13. He cannot use Koto Amatsukami. It wasn't done charging when he had it, and he gave it away.
14. Izanami is almost impossible to use, he even said it was too impractical for battle.

Anything that I missed? Itachi is a character surrounded by hype, mostly by his fans. They constantly embellish things, argue "What Ifs," and post that picture of Black Zetsu saying Itachi is invincible. They go around saying that Itachi can beat everyone and anything with varying levels of ease using no limit fallacies based off of hype. Fans twist everything about Itachi. They make him OOC, they mod him, they back their arguments with hype, etc. Excuses don't count as feats either.

Is Itachi impressive? Yes. But he doesn't have the feats to back up his fanhype. He is not the

Itachi is so overrated.

He without a doubt should be in the top 5, and a serious power house with quite a few feats. But, I don't think he's unbeatable though. And, not many people think that he is unbeatable.
