I can see what Mau5 is saying about the old ones, as gaming evolved I realized that what made the old games hard was the sucky controls in tight situations.

It's just the newer ones lost the horror element, which completely destroyed the franchise.

Really?! I wouldn't need an excuse lol its my damn game.

They could of said something along that lines. like, "This is the direction we wish the AC series to continue, in the future we may have another female protagonist but not now" or something like that. Instead it's, "Hur dur, Woman are too hard to animate, we'd have to make a new skeleton and add 80000 points of animation and customization options."

Personally, I don't care who i'm playing as or who i'm killing in a game as long as it's not children who can't defend themselves and the protagonist happens to be interesting.

It seems like Ezio is the only MC in the series with a personality.

R4 is probably my favorite due to the atmosphere. That and chainsaw Burlap sack men.

To me, the old games sucked. I played one of the PS1 games and it was horrible. Then RE5 came out and made the series fun.

They are considered the best. You probably don't like horror games with a little action. Resident evil had guns, but it as pretty damn hard to get some ammo. You'd haver to use your brains, and escape most of the times.

RE 5 and 6 is just shoot and punch' em. It's not really RE. You probably like action games, that's why.

RE 5 and 6 get boring eventually. They follow the same line the entire game. Shoot and punch, shoot nd punch. And leo's final villain is a giant insect... wtf

Nemesis is the best RE boss. And the previous RE were challenging. Not everyone is capable of beating them. Hard puzzles, hard enemies, you have to use your brain to know when to fight, because most of the times, running is the best choice.

That's what we call fun games.

There was nothing challenging about those games. The older ones were main stream? Only die hard fans who loved a challenge like those game. There was nothing main stream about them. Resident evil 5 was meh, and 6 was garbage stopped playing it the first day I got it. After 4 they got worse and worse.
