4: Hidan

One of the most badass characters, but Kishi put a huge whole in the story by introducing him. Who is Jashin? Why wasn't Orochimaru interested in finding it out if he wanted to be immortal?

Hidan is literally immortal and Kishi never explains how. And no character was interested in how he obtained it lmao.

5: Sai

Literally the most boring character. Probably more useless than Sakura. Kishi tried to make him a little interesting adding the backstory of his brother but failed.

On top of that he had the nerve to disrespek Lord Sasuke

Obito isn't that bad of a character switch him with Kakashi doo doo ass the ninja booty Itachi solos

Wouldn't expect somebody with an Itachi name to have a good grip on character motivation / writing / depth to be honest.

The first you picked is a character with more complexity than most in this manga, Hidan is a side character with a gimmick and doesn't need development...

Naruto is a character you just picked because for some reason, like others you feel the need to pick a side with Sasuke/Naruto and act like the other isn't the exact same.

Sai is great and serves his purpose in the manga with an interesting skillset whilst Sakura you can have but there's absolutely worse- such as the War Arc Ruined Madara Uchiha, Kaguya and other Uchiha power fantasies.

I agree with the majority of this list. Specially obito. Dude had so much has so much character development and it's all for naught,at least he gave up on Sai and hidan and just kinda hoped we'd all lose interest or forget. He put obito front and center and still gave him a shit reason for his entire life's turmoil.

I agree on your firs three although I would also put Sauske in there not just Nardo as both of them had their ups and downs mostly downs as characters. Hidan and Sai are irrelevant so I wouldnt put them in there.

in my opinion a lot more could have being done for sakura i mean come on in the sasori ark she was looking like a real ninja even tho granny did most of the work but yea there was something there.

kabuto seems to be a really great character as medical ninja in the anime so whats up with the rest.

most of the mains have their story as to why they did what they did and if you pick at the others well almost everybody else has a just a lame story

most of the mains who died was trying to protect there village
