I believe the best MS user is Sasuke. I thought that was evident throughout the Manga.

Best MS user is indeed itachi if we go by jutsu utilization and personality.. 2nd best would be obito... You underrated him... He has kamui, the most hax jutsu plus he controlled a perfect jin for years with genjutsu so what are you getting at? other than that he has other abilities too like wood style though limited and a lot of knowledge to top things off.. He's the strongest MS user.. Itachi only beats him in character and personality..
Shisui on the other hand is featless.. so he shouldn't even be included... But that's up to you... For me it's like this

I never said he is not. But itachi's genjutsu was stronger than him,and he was more skilled in using it than sasuke . sand itachi's susano has two of the strongest weopeans in NV.

The weapons make him stronger, but how he used them shown no skill, merely strength.

I don't understand why Shisui is on the list when in the anime, he got beat by Danzo and in the game/novels- those versions have him getting beaten fairly by Anbu. He was some guy with average intelligence who literally didn't know how to handle his MS and gave up by committing suicide to escape the bleak situation when he realized the Uchiha were to be eliminated. It's disgraceful. Give that ocular power to Madara, Itachi, or Obito and see what'll happen and how much better they'd be with it.

Yes, we are all aware that Tobi was being satirical regarding Danzo's prior statement as Sasuke succeeded in fooling him. That is a feat.

But the problem is you're still using a scan where Tobi is still confirming that Itachi is above Sasuke in terms of genjutsu ability... all that scan confirms is that what little Sasuke had was enough to fool someone as arrogant as Danzo. And Tobi enjoyed that.

Tsukuyomi is noted to be powerful because it can manipulate time. That does not make Itachi skilled. Sasuke used the basic 3T Shairangan and MS against his opponent in a skillful way. That is what this is about.

I personally dont see why Obito is getting much praise here. Kamui.....Ok it doesnt do anything. It helps Obito escape hits. Hasn't killed anybody to my knowledge, just helps him escape danger. (So does dodging, susanoo, ama or enton etc) He put a jin under gen Itachi can do that.... Obito gets a lot of praise and so called hax ability when it just makes him not get hit but ends up getting hit anyway...but whatever

For me. It would be (ignoring Indra, Danzo, and that Naruto Gaiden character)
0. MS Madara
1. MS Obito
2. MS Itachi
3. MS Sasuke
4. MS Kakashi
5. MS Shisui

Reasoning.

I placed Madara at #0 because he along with his brother were the leaders of the Uchiha clan. And they fought together against many powerful clans, even the including the Senju which had Hashirama and Tobirama.

I gave MS Obito the #1 spot because this guy was near unstoppable. Had Senju DNA, Kamui which is almost impossible to beat without knowledge on how it works, arguably the best Genjutsu feats in the manga with feats like controlling the Mizukage a PJ, controlling the Kyuubi at age 14. And also controlling 5 tailed beasts later in the war. MS Obito is a character not many can defeat. He can easily outlast his opponent with his ridiculous amount of chakra/stamina and only needs a touch to win his battles. Even if he does lose somehow, he can comeback Via Izanagi when a foe is weakened and finish them off.

I give MS Itachi #2 spot of top 5 MS users as he's more deserving and has used his Mangekyo far longer than those beneath him.
Thanks to Itachi's near flawless proficiency in nin, tai, and genjutsu along with his powerful one shot techniques and Yata & Totsuka. Its unusual for Itachi too not end fights fast. He is the most prominent user of genjutsu in the manga, and in the war arc despite the steady increase of fluctuating power level surpassing his the manga made no attempt to quit wanking the genius of Itachi Uchiha. The only thing that held him back was his illness.

#3 MS Sasuke was a big threat. He could 1 shot a lot of people with just Amaterasu, had a powerful Susanoo, Enton and a hawk to fly around on. I never thought MS Sasuke to be greater than MS Itachi so thats why I have him here. MS Sasuke could beat almost all of the kages 1v1.
Unfortunatly he fell victim to the blindness the mangekyo causes faster than anyone else in the manga. MS Sasuke I feel was the perfect example of the saying "the candle that burns twice as bright but half as long"

#4 MS Kakashi. Kamui GG. Thats it. (I got lazy)

#5 MS Shisui had a very strong jutsu, but got fodderized by Danzo who even took one of his eyes as insult to injury.
