Why hate a character because of fans, no logic.
Don't judge you don't know why I dislike these characters...a character's reception IS a big factor to how you might like a character but that's not what i'm judging by.

Very much so, yes. I never really cared about him before he was shown and now that we've seen him there's not one aspect I like about him. Plank of wood personality, boring and over-technical abilities, no real original jutsu, bad design, can come across as cocky and smug and whenever he has a chapter he seems to dominate it.
Itachi is one of the most well written characters out there, he is strong but his power alone is barely top 10 what makes him amazing is his acting skills and the sheer genius of the guy.
Somewhat true but SO many people wank and appreciate the character for all the wrong reasons. Even before I came to the Base in 2011 Itachi was by far my most hated character. I made a whole thread about why I was wrong but yeah, Kishi still DID make him 'hype character of the week' (which also happened to minato) and idolised him to make him appealing to the more simple part of the fanbase who only seek flashy poses and OP techs. I was partially wrong because there's still some interest in the character but...he's still not too high up on the list.
Also how does kamui make Kakashi arrogant, he needed an upgrade to keep him in the game. The guy is so chill and happy even though his father hanged himself, and his best friend held the deepest grudge in history.
Personally, i'm in denial that Kakashi is even still alive at this point. I think it's maybe the biggest mistake Kishi has made in this war and whenever he's in a chapter I mostly skip over it at this point. Kyuubi cloak Kamui basically made him able to defeat anybody he likes hypothetically, it was the characters only real limit and Kishi took it away especially when Kakashi was firing off like 5 in a row before the Kyuubi Cloak even came along...he thought he could one-shot the freaking 10 tails on his own....
characters I hate are ones like Kiba, ten ten, kankuro. Lame stories, powers, feats, no development
See I feel that feats are a much weaker reason to hate a character than audience reception. I'm a fan of Tenten and Kiba for what they haven't shown but still seem interesting to me. Kiba's in my top 5.
So no it's not flaming and a lot of people seem to be naming my favourites (kabuto, kiba, tsunade, chouji) and I have no problem with it so maybe you shouldn't either.
