(No First Hokage or Madara, thats not fair to the other characters on naruto)
1. Pain - Probable my favorite bad guy of all time, a bad guy with a sense of truth and justice, morals and values, he killed the J-man, revived a village, had fun solo'ing itachi, bee & naruto for a while, and only lost to naruto because the anime is called naruto (lets keep it real)
2. Itachi - The definition of a man in my opinion, a protector from the shadows, but a misjudged criminal in the light, itachi's mysterious personality and bipolar ways really gives him a original & legendary feel to him.
3. Orochimaru - Lol, do I even have to say anything here? I mean really, kid has nine lives like a cat, and was the first person to introduce edo to the anime.
4. Minato - A genuinely good warm hearted person, talented beyond his generation but as humble as a rookie, logical thinker, very intelligent, just can't say enough about the yellow flash.
5. Sasori - One of the coolest bad guys ever with alot of mystery around the origin of his story. As you know sasori and kishimoto have the same birthday, and at first glance I thought kishi made this character to resemble him and how he felt, but alot of articles on the web states that naruto is suppose to be the kishi's story and the two share many like traits, then I found something interesting, kishi has a twin brother. I believe sasori was made to resemble his brother and for that, #5
