Putting the fact that Tsunade is still more than able to carry on with her duties aside, there're currently one three viable candidates:

1) Naruto.
2) Sasuke.
3) Sakura.

Kakashi and Shikamaru would make the best advisors.

1. Naruto (the obvious one as you stated)

2. Sasuke (has the conviction)

3. Sakura (has the brains and experience)

Why i am anti - Kakashi for Hokage.. he doesn't fit the role. If you line him up next to lalll the other Hokages.. Kakashi just doesn't like right being a Hokage. loll. And on top of that he didn't even want that responsibility. People try to play the "george washington didn't want to be president either".. yea only difference George Washington was the commander in chief of the whole army.. Kakashi isn't.

Shikamaru... nah hes more of the tobirama side-kick type of a guy. Hardly any charisma in my opinion


It is time for Sakura/Naruto/Sasuke to take over baby. Ain't got no spot for old geezers.

I Honestly feel that these are the best candidates

1. Kakashi Hatake, but not because of obito stating it, If you are keeping record Kakashi is already an official Hokage Candidate and would be hokage already if it was not for danzo hax and senju lifeforce of tsunade. He Is a skilled ninja in both body and mind, and very few can challenge him on the battlefield (especially now but i won't go further into detail on that)

2. Shikamaru Nara, His IQ is off the charts and as far. so Hes definitely fits the role though his knowledge of jutsu is questionable

3. Ebisu. I know what you are think just What in the world am i thinking, How could this guy be hokage, well he is jonin level thats a start, also he is supposed to be an elite teacher, lets face facts after this war i don't think konoha needs a military leader but someone who could not only fight but teach as well,

4. Sasuke Uchiha- Now this one is possible if Narutos(the manga) storyline progresses to having 2 hokage instead of just one. Which could very well happen because both are the strongest ninja konoha produced sense its formation.



5. Orochimaru. Now this is the least likely out of all above suggestions, but Orochimaru(4th hokage candidate) is smarter than all previous hokage (danzo and tsunade included) he has years of knowledge of not just forbidden justu, but most of all non kekei genkei jutsu) His goal was to know all jutsu, and he has nearly succeeded.

(aside from his war crimes he is a perfect candidate)
