Top 5 Greatest Anime's

Don't flame me but from what I remember (watched it as a kid so I don't remember much) DBZ was pretty much enemy appears, everyone tries to by time for goku to arrive, Goku arrives to save the day, a month of filler talk as they charge up a kamahama, enemy transforms, goku transforms and then goku wins. Doesn't really make me want to revisit it. Since I probably forgot, what makes it so good?

Being someone that wants to start a new manga any good suggestions, I'm thinking FMA: brotherhood, since I enjoyed the original FMA. Is the story line very different/ better?

its really more of a nostalgia thing, i wouldnt revisit it either.. but when i was younger, its wat i looked forward too everyday.. coming home from school and watching DBZ.. i knew wat i was gonna get everytime, goku kicking ass, and thats all i wanted, so it was awesome.. it was big part of my childhood and it turned me on to other anime, so it will always be top 5 for me..

and yes, the story line is alot different, but its still really good.. rurouni kenshin too..

For the number five spot, I was stuck between Naruto and DragonBall Z. I like thme both but dislike both anime's for certain reasons. After thinking and comparing what I like and dislike about each anime I decided I liked Naruto better (Mine is in a particular order)
