Top 5 Favorite Naruto Arcs And Worst Arcs

Just like the title of the thread, what are your guys top 5 favorite Naruto arcs from great to least and top 5 worst arcs in Naruto from awful to decent/ok?

For me:

Top 5 best arcs:

1.Chunnin Exam Arc- FTW best arc in Naruto (in my opinion of course lol)

2.Invasion Of Pain Arc-Over all I did enjoy the arc though that ending is debatable. Poor Nagato

3.Naruto Rescue Sasuke Arc- This arc was great to me seeing development from the rookies Neji, Chouji, Shikmaru, Kiba(jack ass), and Lee(drunken fist was awesome). Sound Four were good of course Kimimaro ftw shame he died. Naruto vs Sasuke was awesome because we get to see the growth between Naruto and Sasuke from the start off the series. What happen in 2nd half of the story*face palm*........don't get me started xd

4.Leaf Destruction Arc- A lot of greats fights here, my favorites of course is Third Hokage vs 1st Hokage + 2nd Hokage and Naruto vs Gaara, good old fashion head butt xD

5.Hidan and Kakuzu arc- In this arc we get some major development from Shikmaru(mostly) and team 10. It was nice to see Asuma in action(jeeze what happen to the other leaf ninja like Anko and Ibiki -_-) and Shikamaru growth from the first half. Hidan and Kakuzu are the villains in Naruto everyone else talk no jutsu lol. Seeing the rasenshuriken for the first time was great. I just wish Kishi would had expanded on that wind style with Naruto more just saying.



Top 5 Worst Arcs

1.4th Ninja war arc- *sigh*..... the problematics enough said

2.Kage Summit Arc- I won't say much here, but I will say what happen later on in the story negates the events on what happen in this arc. Sakura character development was treated awful that's all I'm saying

3.Search for Tsunade Arc- Itachi was only good thing about this arc and mostly the arc was training

4.Land Of Waves- It's was ok, but talk no jutsu was awful

5.Hunt for Itachi Arc- I have mix feelings over it did love Jiraiya development in this arc and the introduction of Pain before he was talk no jutsu. What happen between Sasuke vs Itachi fight and what happen at the end eehhh it's debatable

That's cool, but for me the only good thing I like about that arc was of course was introduction of the kages and some of the ninja from the other villages like Darui. The fights were nice of course

Invasion of Pein was the best Arc. It had the most going for it, awesome fights, back stories, resolutions, character deaths. ETC.

Sasuke Retrieval Arc introduced to us the Sound Five, an awesome band of minions that provided challenges for our Konoha shinobi, not to mention A GOOD Gaara first appeared in this Arc. And Naruto and Sasuke had their first actual fight.

Kage Summit Arc was pretty good, we got to see Sasuke fully control his MS and take on the Kages. Not to mention nearly all of them were introduced and showcased some power. And it ended with a fantastic fight between Sasuke and Danzo.

Amegakure Arc was a decent Arc, Pein was really introduced to us here. Jiraiya revealed more information to us about his former students and naturally he had one of the best deaths that set the tone for the next few Arcs.

The Invasion Of Konoha/Chunnin Exam Third Stage Arc was great! We got to see interesting fights such as Gaara vs Sasuke, Neji vs Naruto and the first time a life size Bijuu or Edo Tensei was shown, was here.


WORST
Akatsuki Invasion/Zombie Arc was not too entertaining. I feel it was more or less just to get rid of more Akatsuki members. Coulda' been better, from a plot standpoint.

The Current Arc isn't that good. There's no drama, barely an feeling of worry or interest. It's the good guys coming out on top.

Sasuke Vs KIller Bee gave me an odd feeling, I plain don't like this arc... I just feel... Odd towards it.

Naruto vs Kurama was a TERRIBLE Arc. Naruto easily, far too easily, got hold of Kurama's chakra.

And Deidara vs Sasuke was a promising match up, just for Sasuke to be able to take whatever Deidara has to thrown at him and act like it's not a challenge. Just to escape death with an asspull.

Nice list man though I was not feeling that kage summit arc. I agree completely about Naruto vs Kurama was not very good, I mean Kurama could done a lot better hes a GIANT FOX for crying out loud lol. And you would think by that point in the story Narutos and Kurama relationship would change, but no once again borrowing chakra again and Kurama once again is view as a demon -___-. Narutos and Kurama bond had no progression what Kishi did with that in the 4th ninja war arc was terrible.

I actually change the best list pretty often. Right now it goes:

1.Search for Tsunade arc
2.Invasion of Pein arc
3.Chuunin Exam arc
4.Hidan and Kakanzu arc/Land of Waves arc (Both were pretty much the same)
5.Sasuke Retrieval arc / Current arc (Can't decide)

Worst-
1.Sasuke and Sai arc
2.Itachi Pursuit arc

All I could come up with for worst arcs. Those two are consistently my least favorite arcs.

Best (in no particular order):

1. Land of waves arc - I actually prefer to view it as a stand-alone, well-rounded, complete story. Back then, it was actually about ninja/tactics etc. Yes, I am *that* kind of fan.

2. Five Kage Summit arc simply because it introduced many new characters I ended up liking.

3. Invasion of Pain arc. Epic, and I'm probably the only one, but I actually found Nagato's final defeat touching.

4. Chuunin Exam arc. Introductions of characters, their development, challenges they face in order to become ninja = awesome.

5. Confining the Jinchuuriki arc, specifically Naruto meeting Kushina. This is the part that drives me to tears every time.

Worst:

1. Sai and Sasuke arc. It's just... Meh.

2. Kazekage Rescue arc. Despite all action, it did seem like part II was starting kinda slow.

3. Invasion of Konoha (part I). It just didn't feel solid to me.

4. ..Eh, I guess that's all.

There aren't actually any parts that I dislike strongly. Some of them just felt less solid, but okay if you read the whole thing (I marathoned the manga once, as a whole, it was just fine).

lol! In way I can see why the kage summit made Gaara close to dis-likable. I just wish Kishi would had made Gaara fought better against Sasuke. Still Gaara has best characterization in Nartuo regardless =D

Why is the 4th ninja war hated? Because of the problematics that came up during this arc from left to right.
