The most badass and heroic ending to a character in anime history. The second the piano kicks in and he kisses Yoko you know he's done for. But he goes out amazingly.

#2 - Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

So much is going on during this death, Mustangs sanity, Envys total 360 in motivation, Edward understanding that envy was in fact jealous of the humans he'd spent his life killing and mocking. It's just amazing.

#3 - Konan from Naruto Shippuden

This fight is sad because all Konan is doing is protecting the grave of her friend. The final shot of her, Nagato and Yahiko all dead together is the most striking and saddest image in the series. Putting a really sad ending to a sad story like the Ame orphans.

Honenheims death was lovely. It really bookended the series and I really wish it was the final scene that the show ended on and not that last episode.

lucy lived her life to apogise for what she did but in the end he dint forgive her even so she ends up saving his life at the cost of her body melting

chrono and roset severly injured eachother in a fight and istead of roset healling chrono and dieing for him they choose to die together

Konan is rank three for all of the manga's that is total bull not even close. Jiraiya's was way more meaningful and all around epic. Also old man Yamamoto the head captain that was probly the top one IMO

It's sad but really doesn't emotionally affect me, it's a pretty textbook anime death.

Seriously Kamina had a sad awesome death too but Kittan's was always my favourite, it's just shot better and it doesn't come as a surprise.
