That is what the manga says a ninja is. A modern day version of a ninja is a spy. They do everything in the shadows. Although Itachi counts as an 'overpowered magician', his killing his whole clan from the shadows from to protect his village is something a actual shinobi would do. Therefore the only ones that actually apply to this is the ANBU really

and if they knew how to use chakra...they would be tryna gather as much jutsus as possible to further their mission succsess..

Yeah I guess, but that isn't the point of it, the point of it is to have the skills necessary to complete the mission, as long as you can work effectively to complete the mission lots of different skills aren't necessary.

i also agree...but the origanal post was basically a biased opinion about ninjas not acting like ninjas because they dont use those fancy tools anymore...because they have jutsus that are more effective. thats really all i had to say about that..:shrug: not sure why i got -rep for me also giving good evidence to support my self....guess i got haters for being somewhat correct? eh...
