I think you meant to say it's immune to all visual genjutsu?
If so, then I don't remember why at the moment(will update this post when it comes to me)but thats complete bs.

There is no proof that it is immune.

People claimed that the latest databook said rinnegan was immune to all visual genjutsu. People believed a troll post on NF and spread this rumor. That troll was called out on it and the rinnegan pages say nothing about genjutsu. Only the RinneSharingan page says that one with such eyes is immune to IT, since one can't genjutsu a person who has the same type of eyes. This relates to Nagato in no way at all.

Black Zetsu also said that there's a chance that if Sasuke were skilled enough with his 3-tomoe, he could catch MS Itachi in a genjutsu. This means that the whole "Rinnegan is immune because it's a higher-level eye power" claim is false. A user with a lower eye power can catch one with a higher power in genjutsu. As long as they're skilled enough..
