Okay I did reread and yes I'll agree that he did blitz Asuma so tooshay but Sakura has made simlar if not faster movements.

The reason why the dust trail picked up was because the Juubi clone got sent flying at massive speeds due to the force behind Sakura's punch which itself is unfathomable.

Yet sakura was able to catch up with the juubi and land a hit. This alone is an amazing speed feat. So Choji's speed is a determining factor.
