In chronicle order, I have noted down the list of New Gen genin who I believe to be the strongest. We have got very limited knowledge about their abilities. Some Character such as Himawari who is yet to be a genin, Kaweki and other characters that are purely based on Hype and was never displayed their feats in Boruto will be excluded from the list.
With that thing in mind, I have ranked the strongest characters based on the Movie/ Naruto Gaiden.

10. Chōchō Akimichi-
Daughter of Karui and Chōji. She is able to use the body expansion techniques of the Akimichi clan. Also, she doesn’t require the three colored pills to use the body expansion techniques. She packs heavy attacks with High defensive capacity especially when she's on guard but have poor mobility, with low observant skills.
Chocho lost on the very first match of the chuunin match, but keep in mind that she was in the worst matchup against someone who was gifted with the Iron sand which considered to be the highest caliber in the Hidden Sand Village.
9. Inojin Yamanaka-
Son of Ino and Sai. Inojin is highly observant shinobi and is quite talent with sword skills. He was taught how to animate his drawings by his father. The ink clone mostly can be used to strangle opponent however the downside is that it has low durability once it get struck, it gets demolish. He is capable of using Yamnaka clan’s special abilities which had the upper edge when dealing with someone with low maneuverability such as Chocho.
8. Yurui-
Yurui was said to be the elite shinobi and a strategist who tends to give false impression to throw his opponent off guard.
He uses the bubblegum which create large explosions and also trap enemies in his bubbles. Also he is a skilled kenjutsu capable of using Lightning Release Swords.
7. Shin Uchiha-
Shin was shown to be very capable in battle. During the first scuffle against Sasuke Uchiha, one clone was able to force the mighty Uchiha to draw his sword to counter its attacks.
Against Sarada Uchiha w/1t and Chōchō Akimichi, two kunoichi of similar physical age, a clone quickly overpowered them, saved only by the timely arrival of the Seventh Hokage. In battle, the clones displayed impressive levels of speed and agility, able to evade a surprise attack and quickly counter.
Even Naruto, the Seventh Hokage, was impressed by the clone's evasiveness. The clones are very enduring, able to survive the brunt of a massive fireball attack. Despite the clones each seemingly having their respective Sharingan active constantly, they show no signs of fatigue from their continued use, implying they have very high reserves of chakra.
Naruto had to go on BM against Shin MS.
6. Metal Lee-
Metal Lee like his father possesses great stamina and strength. He was capable of holding his own against Shinki as well as repelling his puppet into a wall with a single kick. According to the novel, he is recognised as a genius within his taijutsu-excelling clan.
5. Sarada Uchiha-
SShe inherited her mother’s amazing control over the chakra flow. Also, this allows her to use chakra enhanced strength with which she can create craters on the ground.
She single-handedly defeat dozens of Shin clones even before graduating.
As far as we've seen, Sarada mostly adept to close quarter combat. She hasn't shown any mid-long range technique especially when Sarada still has 1 tomoe which can only percieve opponent chakra and dispel genjutsu.
However Sarada is skilled with ninja tools and her specialty is shurikenjutsu, which she demonstrates by being able to throw her weapons quickly and with precision.
Also Sarada is very knowledgeable in wide variety of ninjutsu.
4. Shikadai Nara-
Shikadai has amazing intellect. Also, he is able to use the secret techniques of the Nara clan. Shikadai is able to manipulate his shadow and his range is over a wide area.
Shikadai can greatly expand its range to capture many different targets simultaneously. His shadow allow to completely encompass a very large area, quickly capturing and taking over multiple targets before they can react. This puts others to disadvantage who can only excel in CC such as Boruto W/VR, Metal Lee and Sarada.
3. Boruto Uzumaki-
Boruto is hailed as a Prodigy shinobi and he is a very quick learner able to adept faster. Boruto has been able to perform the Shadow Clone Technique even before becoming a genin. From training with Sasuke, he has become skilled in shurikenjutsu, able to change a weapon's trajectory mid-flight.
Boruto also invented Vanashing rasengan for only 3 days; he was able to make the rasengan invisible, and completely tricked Momoshiki despite having 3 rinnegans and two byakugan could not see that coming. Which means, Boruto can easily bypass any obstacle with vanishing rasengan and inflict damage.
In the case with Shikadai, Boruto shows great reflex and managed to hold on throughout the whole match until the point when Boruto got too close to even lay a touch on him probably that no one was able to come thus far. All this without relying the cheat device and Vanashing rasengan dealing against shikadai flexible shadow possession.
2. Shinki-
Shinki is very powerful shinobi who excels in mid-long range. Shinki is blessed with the Magnet Release kekkei genkai, allowing him to control Iron Sand.
Using such ninjutsu, his Iron sand is completely Versatile allowing him to out maneuver opponents similar to gaara case.
He is also a skilled puppet user giving himself some space while observing opponents movement. He can use his Iron Sand to constrict opponents, and also in conjunction with his Puppet Technique. Shinki has flight advantage, in which he can create platform of the iron sand.

Mitsuki is an exceptionally talented shinobi for his age noted by Orochimaru to be genetically perfect and potentially more powerful than the Sannin himself. Mitsuki has extremely high chakra levels for his age, enough to achieve Sage Mode.
He also is extremely quick and agile, able to avoid attacks and redirect them against the enemy. He was also able to hold his own against Suigetsu in a brief taijutsu scuffle.
Mitsuki's signature technique is the ability to stretch his body component using as weapons and restraints. Mitsuki is extremely versatile with his body modification.
