Okay guys I've been playing a LOT of zombies lately on every map and just thought I would make this topic to see your guys' opinions on this. From hardest to easiest, what do you think are the hardest zombie maps? (Btw you cannot say a map is easy or hard unless you've extensively played it please.) I will also add what special Wonder Weapon exists within each map.
1. Verruckt- By FAR the hardest map in the game. Small spaces, skinny halls cluttered with debris to hinder your movement...It's an accomplishment to get anything over round 20 here. Even with the addition of Mule Kick, this map is still the hardest of the bunch. W-Weapon: [Winter's Howl]
2. "Five"- Alright, by now most of us have played this map at least 100 times be it with friends or randoms, and KNOW it's a difficult map. Very difficult. Verruckt difficult? No. Still a good challenge difficult? Yes. This map has the Pentagon theif, which shakes things up by stealing your crap. Annoying to kill him too. W-Weapon: [Winter's Howl]
3. Shangri-La- Okay, not everyone has played this beast of a map, but to everyone who has, knows it's a pain in the ass. Napalm zombies, Shrieker zombies, and monkeys that steal your long-awaited max ammo only to change it into a carpenter. This map is packed full of tiny little hallways perfect to get trapped in. W-Weapon: [31-79 JGb215]
4. Der Riese- Now, I know what you're thinking..."What? How is Der Riese hard?!?" Well, make it into the higher rounds and you'll see why. Immensely powerful hellhounds spawning amongst the hundreds and hundreds of zombies. Yeah, it's annoying. I've made it to round 38 solo, and I swear there must have been at least 10 dogs per 15 zombies. W-Weapon: [Wunderwaffe DG-2]
5. Nacht der Untoten- Smallest map. No perks. This is the map true zombie veterans love to go far on. Unfortunately this map has had it's original difficulty greatly decreased via the addition of monkey bombs and the Thundergun. Still though, quite a difficult map due to it's tiny size. W-Weapon: [Thundergun]
6. Call of the Dead- Alright, at the beggining of this maps release, it was the hardest thing ever. Because of George. Now it's not so bad, because we players have gotten smarter with him and know effective ways of avoiding/killing him to a point where this map is pretty simple. I put this at 6 simply because of George. W-Weapons: [V-R11, Scavenger, Wunderwaffe DG-2(via EE)]
7. Shi No Numa- This map isn't so much as hard, as it is annoying. The zombies in this map are somehow more aggressive than the zombies in other maps. Seemingly running faster and hitting you from farther distances. The cramped and debris filled starting building is notorious for getting stuck and downed. W-Weapon: [Wunderwaffe DG-2]
8. Moon- "But Moon is stupidly hard OMFG!" Well no, not exactly. Biodome. The Biodome is your best friend people, keep it from being breached by the excavator and you can go FAR on Moon. This map also has the Wave Gun, which can cook up to 24 zombies with one shot. I got to round 34 here no problem just using the Biodome. W-Weapon: [Wave Gun]
9. Ascension- Now I KNOW a lot of you love this map, but it is simply WAY too easy to play. With the Thundergun in hand and a large mob of zombies by the Flopper lander, rounds just fly by. Monkeys are not really an issue because whenever I'm forced to play this awfully easy map it seems at least 2 people get ray guns within the first 10-15 rounds. W-Weapon: [Thundergun]
10. Kino der Toten- Activate teleporter. Use. Spam grenades. Run a few circles till next round. Lather, rinse, repeat. Nothing much too it. W-Weapon: [Thundergun]
Now that the list is done, I want you guys to either C/D my opinions on them and/or make your own list with your own opinions!
