most of the shows those characters are out of i was almost going to watch but i decided not to because of the reviews on MAL, i usually only watch a show if it has >8 out of ten (except naruto)

and this is your problem man.. why do you care about ratings other people give? most of the low rates deserve to be called bad yes, but you also have to know that here is hidden gems between them and that mal's top 100 is full of crap and alot of them don't deserve at allt he high rating at all.
you watch something because you wanna know if ist good for you!! and not based on someoens elses opinion

well i actually am in the middle of an anime that is low tier but its more got to do with the words then the actual rating, its ever since i watched fmab which i thought was utter garbage, so everytime i watch an anime i have to read multiple reviews and gather a basic understanding of its concepts before i watch it.
