Manga and data book disagree with you. Ninjutsu was first used by kaguya and modern ninjutsu was first used by indra. Hogoromo is not the father of anything but ninshuu

Also your points have nothing to do with our argument. Suppose hogoromo was the originator of these techniques, how does that stop others from replicating what he has done as obito did. Calling what obito did an asspull and not hogoromo did is nothing more than opinion that only has to do with your personal preferences. You can't support it with anything else.

#10 - Gai surviving 8 Gates



Topping the list off, is the asspull we are all familiar with. The most famous one of all. It's been stating since part 1 that going to the 8th gate means absolute death. When this didnt happen, fans of the series were not happy. However, it is only number 10 because kishi did a great job of using Naruto's Yin/Yang abilities to counter the death.


#9 - Naruto Kyuubi Healing



at #9 we have one of the most anticipated fights in the manga. Naruto vs Sasuke pt.1. It easy to see how having the Kyuubi inside you gives you free range to pull assail after asspull. However, healing a large hole in your body is one i never expected. And its also one we've never seen again since.


#8 - Naruto Kyuubi Cloak stopping Orochimaru's Snake



as cool as this was, its hardly plausible even for a kid possessing the demon fox spirit to stop a huge snake moving at that speed. Especially when the kid is only using the least powerful version of his cloak. I call asspull


#7 - Curse Mark Senjutsu Susanoo



don't you dare sit there and try to defend this sh!t. This was an asspull if I've ever seen one. The amount of connections and explanations they had to provide just to justify this asspull is direct evidence to that.


#6 - TenTen using Sage Tools to fodderize Kakuzu



I guess they needed to find a way to make her seem useful. As a self-acclaimed TenTen aficionado, i could've found literally a dozen different ways TenTen could be useful in any situation. (Watch the filler where Gai explains her potential to get an idea). But nope. they went the lazy route and had her found some OP tools to make quick work of an otherwise OP villain. Asspull.


#5 - Mei not using Corrosive Steam against Susanoo



Till this day, i still find myself getting upset everytime i watch this fight. Mei Terumi who had the perfect jutsu against Sasuke's Susanoo, all of a sudden forgets to use it against Madara. Her jutsu literally melts Susanoos. But no she rather spit water at them. This is more of reverse asspull where the character was nerfed to serve the plot.


#4 - Gaara Skin Shield



no. way. in. hell. I don't care what anyone says, Gaara should be dead after what lee did to him. But no, he had an even extra layer of skin on top of his already layer shield on top of his ultimate defense. Yea, the guy who has sand that automatically defends him, has TWO extra layers of protection just in case. Bullsh!t.

Oh, I totally forgot the fact that Naruto, as a half-Uzumaki, was able to survive the bijuu-extraction by re-sealing Kurama, while Kushina, a full-blood Uzumaki, would've died even if she did the same, like she said herself. Even the Zetsu's called it an absolute rule, a few chapters before, that a (non-Juubi)-Jinchuuriki dies when the Bijuu is extracted, even while an Uzumaki can survive a bit longer than others.

and mei`s corrosive jutsu wouldnt work on that level of susanoo,at least not effectively enough to make a difference....even sasuke`s skeleton susanno wasnt destroyed(we all know sasuke wasnt accustomed to his susanno back then)

Izanami and Izanagi are tied mythologically, so if you know about the mythology, you knew that Izanami was on the way.

Now the actual ability of the jutsu? Maybe. But it was explained in a way that gave it a reason to exist, and a reason for it to have never been shown before, so I don't agree with Izanami being an asspull.

I'm talking about the actual ability. At that point of the series uchiha were already OP. 3 tomoe is good, MS even better, EMS a whole lot better. Then came Izangi. I was like..ok...I'll deal..and then came Izanami. LOL. Sometimes a problem comes up in the manga and after it is solved the feeling I'm left with leaves me to determine if I think its ass pull or not. At that point in time I was just like...really? It just seemed like an easy way out. Sorta like the DMS kakashi thing which was badass but complete ass pull imo. Like I'm pretty sure if you collect 5 different uchiha eyes you get an automatic win. (Exodia reference).
