Me and my bros (best friends) during bowling talked about Toonami adding more great anime to the block, also what needs to be remove from the block

I said: Get Future Diary & High School Of The Dead
Others said: Get Fairy Tail and keep Blue Exorcist (one of my best friends became a Blue Exorcist fan)

Get rid of Batman, Samurai Jack, and other non anime and replace them with those shows ^


What y'all think ?

It got shut down back in 08 after poor reception and pretty much because of the internet boom that happened in anime. Then as an April Fools prank, Adult Swim brought it back and aired said^ shows for onenight only in 2012. This started the revival of the toonami block that has so far done well and exceeded all expectations to this day.

OT: I like where Toonami has gone so far. I do agree that the western shows should get removed and maybe grab the extra half-hour before the block starts. (that's the 11:00-11:30 slot time for my timezone)

Oh. That's cool. I thought it was a good program block. Do you remember Saturday Anime on SciFi channel back in the early-mid 90s?

I think you need to watch that devil tongue, get rid of Jack for HSoD boy you must be out yo rabid ass mind. Keep batman and add Ninja Turtles. Imo they should either turn toonami into a nostalgia program and air a bunch of good shows that people don't remember with 2 hours of anime in it for the big names(One Piece, HxH, then make a separate block for anime, or make a new block for older cartoons like TMNT Batman the Animated, Freakazoid, Animaniacs, Rocko's Modern Life those types of shows.

Now that I think about it more, I'd actually like to see Toonami drop most of the anime they're running and start airing some of the shorter or more obscure anime that the general fan in the west may not see. Anime like Baccano! or Psycho Pass or Kingdom or Peacemaker etc. rather than keep these long syndicated titles, just give us a bunch of new anime every couple of months, when one adds throw up the next one. It would be a good way to introduce a lot more people to a lot wider anime selection.

That's my opinion on it, forget fairy tail forget HSoD, definitely keep Jack.
