Too overhyped?

Why is Hashirama so overhyped? Is it b/c he has Wood Release? I know full and well he isn't weak by any means necessary, but he isn't invincible.

How does he counter Chibaku Tensei? Shinra Tensei? Amaterasu? Kamui?

Is he fast enough to counter/ hit Minato?

What would be do against Kisame's Mega Water Burst Shock Wave? (The move he used against Bee)

Again, he isn't weak but he can't counter everything. At one time he was reverred as the "God of Shinobi" but people are eventually surpassed.

He doesn't have to counter much when he makes bijuus his pets and can summon something x2 the size of a mountain/can regenerate completley without using seals. Not to mention ashuras chakra. Kamui might be the toughest thing for him to counter.

He could subdue. Not physically control.

And yes he can heal w/o seals but that doesn't help him offensively.
