This is an interesting thread with a lot of well constructed arguments, and it's definitely a subject I think about often. Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I like reading everyone's opinion on the matter, though, and I hope this discussion goes on.​

Well she did eat the fruit which was from the God tree. They are the same entity. Her plan was to use the IT on everybody. Plus she spoke to madara n told him to absorb the tree it a obvious isn't it.

First off the Jinchuriki often apart aspects of the tailed beast that they have sealed into them. Kaguya was most like not born with the third eye, but only recieved it after sealing/eating the fruit. Those things on the Juubi's head are supposed to represent roots, while it's back, and tails represent a budding flower. Kaguya is definitely not the Juubi, it was a mindless creature, Kaguya on the other hand is depicted as being intellectual, or at least she'd have to be to overthrow the entire world.

The thing with the Fruit is this, I say that Kaguya ate the Fruit, got that Eye, but somehow, after a certain Time she got sucked in & trapped in to the Shinju in order to pay for her sins, thus, she somehow merged with the Shinju & became Juubi. She became a mindless beast because she couldn't control all that Power anymore. Just read my previous Threads & you'll understand what I mean.
