first of all, NO SPOILERS PLEASE, thank you for your understanding

So I've been hardcore watching One Piece for a while now.
Arrived at the Gecko Moria arc. (around that time where Kuma appears).

What has been bothering me for quit some time now:
Chopper's Brain point, underestimated? or rather overpowered?

You must be registered for see images

The brain point is said to grand chopper the ability to find the opponents 'weak spot'.
Thus exposing all of the enemies weaknesses.
In my eyes this ability is rather convenient while fighting in teams, 1 distracts the opponent while
chopper searches for the one weakness of the enemy.
This being said, is it just me or is this power underestimated or rather intentionally not being used this much.
(for it would make battles rather easy to deal with).

Please share opinions, and discuss!

Haha love the sig, so no biggie at all mate!

It's just critical thinking tbh.. kinda like what Shikamaru does

this doesn't change the fact though that it could've saved them a LOT of trouble before.
like when fighting Oz (luffy zombie in the Gecko Moria arc.).
If I would be in that team, my first reaction would be, get searching you damn raccoon! hehe

that my friend is true, but in some stages of the anime it could've caused for a rather interesting
fighting scene as well. like I mentioned above, in the arc of Gecko Moria where they fight Oz (luffy zombie)

Brain point is not a skill that he just activates and makes him think better, it's just a gag on him taking his time and concentrating. He finds those weaknesses with logic and experience. It's not like if he does the pose he will get 100% positive answers about all the weakspots, he could probably come up with that in jumping point too but it';s less funny.

Chopper was the one by the way who told Oz's weakness about him not feeling pain and breaking his back by straightening his spine.

Damn, hadn't seen thee full fight yet, I'm just gonna forget what you typed haha

Yes I know, its not a 'technique' but rather a matter of concentration.
Apart from that, this still doesn't change the fact by taking this pose the moment of looking
for the weakness decreases because he has full focus on the 'brain point' thus full focus
on looking for a weakness, a skill that can rather speed fights up allot.

Well since this ability became unused as series continued I think it became useless because straw hats don't usual fight in groups but fight groups... individually as we saw on Enies Lobby, Fish men Island although they kinda changed in Punk hazard... But still that brain point is only looking for a probability and that Chopper if he learns Haki maybe he can fully master it
