yeah could be an original character....in hindsight i feel like kaguya should have been the movie instead of the manga but it is what it is. Alot woulda had to be changed if that was the case though

I don't know why everyone thinks Toneri is old, its one hundred percent possible for Hagoromo/Ashura - Indra and Hamura/??? - ??? to have had children and their bloodlines passed on. Hell he said his entire "clan" so there must be more than one, other than his puppets unless Toneri is psychotic. What really leaves me dumbfounded is why would Toneri need the Hyuuga clan. Because he himself is not a Hyuuga (From what we've seen) so it raises the possabilities that he might have a "strong body" rather than the eyes. So maybe a descendant of Hagoromo - Ashura? No idea, but it would make sense for a 'strong body' to need 'strong eyes' aka Byakugan, because it seems there are secerts yet to be unveiled.
