So this could mean that he's the father of Hagoromo and husband of Kaguya or possibly the descendant of Hamura. I think it's the former though.

The Eternal Mangekyou Byakugan confirmed for Hinata, this whole movie is set up by Naruto to allow Hinata to kill her sister and take her eyes without looking like a totally psychopath, Toneri Otsutsuki is Sasuke in a henge because he is in on the plan too.
