i just cant see orochimaru investing his time into something that only has the potential for power, he seems to experiment with more obvious powers like sharingans, jugos Kekkei Genkai, suigetsus water body, or the Iburi Clans smoke ability. it just seems past him to create his own son of all people out of someone whos only redeeming quality was that he was able to unlock a dojutsu, especially when that doesnt guarantee mitsuki can ever get it

I don't know about that, iirc toneri said he has pure otsutsuki blood. Which means he isn't tainted by outside genetics, that does seem weird though. As he looks very human compared to momoshiki,kaguya,etc. Perhaps in the past thousand years the otsutsuki on the moon lost their signature traits (horns,etc)? idk, also when did momoshiki state that?
