Possibly just a matter of timing, considering that when manga author Sui Ishida recently suggested that fans keep their eyes open for potential news (which some fans thought could be a second phase to the concluded manga series) he meant from Japanese outlets like Young Jump or its local site, but the Tokyo Ghoul' anime's Chinese distributor has removed their listing of second season.

Before, the 2nd season was listed for January 2015.

Just because its delisted doesn't mean its not happening. They put it on too early, the announcement was supposed to be this month. Ishida would have no reason to say "Look out for more shit!" If no shit was planned. Plus they're having a thing for Tokyo Ghoul in Japan with the cast of the anime soon. More than likely the announcement will be there.
