So if you've missed the news Tokyo Ghoul the manga will continue soon. And from what we've gathered as info is this:
Akira Mado is a Rank 1 investigator and leader (?) of a team of Hybrids organized a few months prior. Dude on cover is Satsuki Haise, Rank 1 investigator and mentor to the others on the team. He is said to be a bookworm and has a "paternal" relationship with Arima. His name appears above the briefcase in the scene in Chapter 143 where Arima meets with the CCG chairman. His name means "Ash", and the manga images imply his hair is a mixture of white-and-black. Heavily speculated by fans to be Kaneki, due to their similarities. Other members are all 3rd Rank/19 years old. Rokugatsu Tooru - girl with eyepatch Urie Kuki - dude with headphones Fuchi Ginshi - creepy dude with shark teeth Unnamed girl with pigtails. Name of team is believed to be "Quinix"?
So there are a few possibilities. I think it's pretty obvious that Kaneki is alive and probably that guy Satsuki Haise.
If we say that this is true there are a few possibilities as to how this has happened:
- Arima spared Kaneki and decided to recruit him (because Aman told him how Kaneki spared him and is not a normal ghoul) even though se stabbed him in the head.
- Arima stabbed Kaneki in the head so even though se would recover, he'd lose all his memories (the brain can grow back but I doubt it'd grow back the memories he had) and was brain-washed by Arima and told ghouls killed his family and friends, etc
Maybe Kaneki got the ghoul organs removed from him, so he's a human again?
Maybe Kaneki made a deal if he becomes one of them that they won't kill Touka, Hinami, Nishiki, etc.
Plus in a way they have the same goal - destroy Aogiri Tree and kill evil ghouls, find the doctor again, etc.
And Kaneki only cares about protecting his friends from CCG and other Ghouls.
So do you think that this is him? That him and Arima made a deal(kinda like attack on titan - the strongest human is in charge of the "monster" cause he can keep him in check and kill him if he tries anything funny) and nobody else knows the truth? And if it's him why he joined CCG?
