Ok so the spoilers are out and the chapter looks epic. It is so action-packed that I don't actually want to spoil everything by showing the pics so I will just give a brief summary for anyone interested.

-Haise and Serpent fight
-Haise receives some blows at the start but then he overpowers Serpent
-Serpent is revealed and he says something that drives Haise crazy
-CCG guys arive and Akira snipes him from afar
-Chapter ends with Arima meeting Haise in the S3 headquarters

Throughout the chapter I notice the design of Haise changes btw, making him look more like Kaneki.

I was dissappointed to see the sequel manga not following the original manga. I'm still reading it though but the hype is dead for me

yes yes but I had prefered for the manga to continue with the main characters and not go onto a completely new cast (aside of Mado's daughter). It's not bad, I just hope they won't completely change the cast. I admit, the new chars look good and the story is just fine so far. I just wish they won't completely take a new direction and involve the past chars in the upcoming story, dead or not.

hahaha bro the cast is not completely new pay attention read 1 all the way to latest chapter and also pay attention to the guote on quot new protag if you dont get it by then your bad with hints

But they aren't going onto a completely new cast. Haise is Kaneki, Hinami and Ayato have been shown in the first chapter, Nishiki was revealed this chapter, etc. It's only a matter of time before the rest appear. We're only on the 7th chapter of the sequel.

Oh I see. Well Hinami is back too and in this chapter another character reappeared. Slowly all characters from the old cast will reappear for sure. We just had to focus on the main character, Sasaki "NotKaneki" Haise. If you think about the original series, Kaneki had met only 3-4 characters after 7 chapters. The only one I worry about seeing again active is Suzuya.

Yeah I certainly hope it'll develop the way I prefer it. I take back my words and I'll just wait until the story develops I guess I judged it too fast as I'm used to getting dissappointed by mangaka's and animators.

hahaha not really it was pretty obvious serpent was nishiki those kicks and volgor mouth gave him away but i wanna who torso thou wanted it to be Tsukiyama but its not looking like it will be
