From what I remember isn't the main branch also located in District 1 if so it kinda makes sense Kaneki brought such an OP team, and Ayato with him

I would also like to hear ppl's opinions as to whether Urie is going to become a ghoul and if you think whether or not Mutsuki already is one

I do believe Uribe will become one at some point, it just has to happen if he is gonna be able to keep protecting his squad.

As for Mitsuki I think she already had that break down and that she is a Ghoul.

Mitsuki is a ghoul. Earlier chapters have her smelling like human blood.
I think Urie will have to in order to beat Donato. Dude isn't even trying and winning hard.

By the way, with Arima dead, there should be no conceivable way for any possible resistance in the lab being able to do anything to hinder Ken and Takizawa, let alone backed up by Ayato and Kurona all at the same time. Hoping no BS happens in this arc.
