I loved the anime, then thought might aswell read the manga, but ended up missing the episode, I ave lost interest too

I read all the manga chapters out 2 weeks ago and am reading the current ones as they're released but......meh.....it is being overhyped. The main character (Kaneki) looks cool with his mask and zipper over his mouth but it's not used as effectively as it could be imo. When I first saw it and as I was reading, I kept waiting for him to start eating other ghouls instead of humans. I wont spoil for you but it doesn't happen like that. Sort of...but like I said, not effectively. The Kagune, the special powers of the ghouls sticking out of their backs? Sounds cool and looks cool sometimes, but in the manga its hard to tell whats going on in the panels when they are attacking with their kagune. Not always but a lot of times. Even if it sounds like Im bashing it, I would still recommend it as a decent manga. I'll probably let more anime episodes get released and then watch em all at once instead of weekly.
