The only thing that troubles me is Akira's age there. The wiki says she was 27 already but I don't know if I can trust the wiki.

Edit: Checked and that "27" on the wiki must be bs speculation, they don't have any source for it and there's nowhere to be found in the manga.

Apparently there's a new group of half-ghouls. Their meaning is explained in the second spoiler above, but no one can translate it yet.

Also, the sequel is called Tokyo Ghoul: Re in case someone didn't know.

Edit: The group was apparently started by CCG and some people are saying that Kaneki is mentoring the group? No actual confirmation for the second part though, but it's confirmed the group has been started by the CCG and Haise is a part of it.

Look at the bottom panel where the suitcase is. Notice the 3 Kanji that are the following:

>はいせ
>Haise

>new MC's first name Haise

Left-kakugan. Similar height and weight to Kaneki's. Last name still ends in 木, and the reading for his first name is given as Haise, which is what the narrator (presumably Kaneki) responded in the page I linked. No one understood what it meant, so the scanlators just used "yes".

There's a chance that Haise is Kaneki or at least heavily related to him.​
