Tokyo Ghoul Anime

I caught up with the Manga and started to watch the Anime and must say i'm disappointed.

Episode 4 was really far from good and i can't see the Anime will be able to redeem itself. The censorship annoys, trying to fit 79 chapters into 13 episodes and skipping important things, also the switch arounds in the plot.


What do you guys think of the Anime?

YES, i KNOW BRO. it seem like they're (anime team) going to move around some things.

i was disappointed at first but, if they can make it work, it won't be so bad, but if not I'll stick to the manga.

Its not the first time this has happened, look at Black lagoon. the anime move around two arc, that complete reworked rock and revy's dynamic, and the story but it was fairly enjoyable.

The retarded anime team wants to rush the series to Kaneki's personality change and then slow the pace for season two, I believe. They going to probably move, remove and add things to it as usual, so some story elements will be move or reworked, and some will be pushed into flashback etc.

this really sucks,imo. the manga > anime, but I still do enjoy it.

I only started to read the manga after the first episode since it peaked my interest and found it to be a really good manga. However, The anime is getting worse every episode. They're ruining the characters, the relationship between them, and drastically changing the events and the story timeline.

They also seem to enjoy making the MC look like a ***** when he is much more mature and adaptive in the manga.

I'm at chapter 87 of the manga and, so far, I give it a 8/10. The anime barely gets a 6/10.

My advice is, if you really enjoy the anime, don't read the manga until it's over. Otherwise, you'll be very disappointed each episode.

What pisses me off is that it's the same studio that's animating Naruto Shippuden and you know how they like to fill an episode with all kinds of fillers yet when they have a lot of great (and important) material from the Tokyo Ghoul manga, they just skip it!

I mean, last episode covered about 10 chapters with their pacing and skipping!

I have found uncensored of episode's 2&4 I dunno if it's fully undone and good, but someone did the best they could in making it uncensored. Just wait for the home video release though... That'll be uncensored.

It's alright, although I'm not really a fan of the manga either. May be I had higher expectations for the manga or something. I didn't seem interested until the later chapters...

I love the Manga and have to agree with the Anime. They're not making it really good..
