Even if you look at The Last, a Sakura without Byakugou performed very well against Toneri's puppets. And that was 12 years before Shin appears.

Exactly, people can whine about it all they want. It Sakura had to use byakugou Shin would have gotten flattened.

The same technique that allowed Sakura to utilize ninjutsu against a ninjutsu nullifying ability would have given her the strength to get around Shin's casual crippling with his blades.

RTN and the Novels aren't the same as the Academy Arc and this new Hidden Mist Arc. The latter two simply had character designs and the like done by Kishi. With RTN, he did have input on the story, but anyone with a brain can tell it's an AU/non-canon. With the novels, he has no input on the story, just gave drawings. With the anime, we know for a fact 100% he works on the story, so much so that he was the reason Bolt's going to the Hyuga was split into two episodes.

Oda isn't doing the OP novels(iirc) yet he said they're canon no different than what Kishi did. Agreeing and supervising don't make it canon either unless blatantly said like he did Boruto movie/manga. If the manga show nothing like the anime showed then the anime is complete filler.

Her performance against shin is very realistic imo so whether or not you wanna consider this cannon or not doesn't require a debate of Filler vs Canon in this case. Now if Sakura would've performed Chidori or SM then I'd be willing to say that arguing it's filler would be warranted.

The Boruto Anime was handled by the same scriptwriters who wrote the manga and Kishi deemed both as canon, moreover, he was involved with sharing the ideas and he approved something every time the episodes gets published. And whenever he doesn't approve something, SP staffs had to readjust the scripts until it fits with his view. He doesn't just accept it, he was more or less involved and oversees the anime.

It is filler because it "fills" an episode with non-canonical material which was written by SP that animated the episode.

No, it would not be cannon because we have no supporting feats in the manga to say Sakura can use fireball jutsu.

In this case, we see her utilize abilities we know her to have. That's the difference.

If she pulled out something we never imagined or seen her have today. I would not accept it as something she can do unless backed up further by manga in the future.

Yes you can argue this is NB and this is the kind of thing Naruto related forum should do. But being blind toward reality and too much fapping are not a good representation for Naruto related forum. It do no good at all. Rational thinking can be count by fingers here. Others are just like a land mine that need to be avoided. You also can argue about personal freedom but whats the point when you look stupid and showing a desperation with it?

When you create threads specifically for a certain characters or moments dont expect something opposite wont happen. You just ask for it. How many hreads about this filler/anime were create today and yesterday?
