Today's Filler

I know how most on this site feel about the incessant filler that refuses to go away. But there was something refreshing about todays episode.

Seeing Itachi and Minato confer was something i always dreamed of happening

Seeing Minato, Hiruzen and Kakashi all in the same room in their appropriate ranks was interesting to say the least

Seeing Sasuke have a different goal besides vengeance show me there is still so much more to his character than we've acknowledge

The same goes for Naruto. Even with his parents he still has a drive to get better at any cost.

There were many great take aways in this episode. I suggest you watch it if you haven't already

theres no real action but still manages to somehow be a good filler nonetheless

almost makes u wish Kishimoto didnt kill off the Uchiha

Kishi just rushed the story.He could have done many great things.

And also Naruto Parents.... Minato as Hokage is great...
If things would go this way itachi would surely become Uchiha Leader.... him and Minato would finaly acomplished peace what Hashi and Maddy started.... and Naruto and sasuke would continiued it....

As someone who has read all the manga chapter's seen all the movie's this is kinda refreshing like a what if scenario.

It's really fun to see a total re-imagining of the parties involved. Sort of functioning like all of the marvel reboots of x-men etc.

I hope this filler arc goes through with them to adulthood and remains just as fun as these past few have been.

I agree wholeheartedly, really great episode, it was nice to see Jiraiya, Tsunade, Minato, Hiruzen etc. all together at once. I was surprised to see Itachi compliant with his father with aiding and spying against the leaf, he had wider perspective that just didn't align with his clan. But this is a "What if", really good one at that.
