Over 22,000 children die every day around the world.
That is equivalent to:
* 1 child dying every 4 seconds
* 15 children dying every minute
* A 2010 Haiti earthquake occurring almost every 10 days
* A 2004 Asian Tsunami occurring almost every 10 days
* An Iraq-scale death toll every 18–43 days
* Just under 8.1 million children dying every year
* Some 88 million children dying between 2000 and 2009
The silent killers are poverty, hunger, easily preventable diseases and illnesses, and other related causes. Despite the scale of this daily/ongoing catastrophe, it rarely manages to achieve, much less sustain, prime-time, headline coverage.

While we all have the necessities in our house, all those children are dieing because they can't find food or they aren't warm or they have some kind of disease.I'mafter hearing this.
i disagree with the people who say its life and there's nothing we can do about it. there is plenty we can do to help these kids. were over here staring gluttony in the face every single day, every time we lay on our beds or eat our warm microwaved food were shaking hands and inviting gluttony into our homes and more importantly into our hearts, look at what our gluttonous actions are doing to our KING. We must preserve the Will of Fire and if these words cant convince you than u don't see the bigger picture and u should take another look. ( i only use naruto references because kishi is a genius at subliminal messages, and that example fits this topic very well)

you my friend fail miserably, please just shut the **** up, i do all i can to help those people, i donate to several charities, disaster reliefs, and medical breakthrough charities, what do you do besides sit on your fat ass and troll threads as serious as this. and what 10 year old is supposed to die because he starved or had a common cold? where is the normality in that? and to the person who made the comment about the japan tsunami and how its a "good thing for the world" you need a reality check, i guarantee if you had a family member or friend in japan who was killed by it you would surely think otherwise, back to the noob who quoted me tho, u obviously don't take death seriously or have never had an immediate family member die, so you cant even begin to imagine the pain it brings on you, so please hold you stupid comments to yourself and start giving a dam about somebody other than yourself for once.

Stop it. It's no use going up against fools and trolls on any forum unless it is to protect someone directly. No matter how much you argue it won't change the reality of a fool, that is if they are not ready for it, which these guys are obviously not.

3: Im Only Thinking For The Planet Itself Since WE abuse the living hell out of it. so more people dead. the planet we live on could flourish with more life (animals and watnot). i suppose you can reference me as "Pain" In this thread

1. your first comment contradicts your second because if u didn't only care for yourself than a family member dieing WOULD affect you.
2. u clearly have not lost a family member or a loved one as i stated in my last comment because if u think a family member dieing WOULD NOT affect you than its obvious u still have that bone chilling pain ahead of you, and i warn you it can get very depressing and it can make you feel worthless and can put you in a bad place. i only argue with you my friend because u have many things to learn, and you own ignorance can be your downfall. good day to you and i mean nothing personal that i say, i have reached my "enlightenment" and maybe someday you can find yours

i did mourn, i did get depressed, i did get angry but im over it. ever since nothing ever hurt me or made me sad or shed a tear about people dying. so you either have a misconstrude perception of what im "attempting" To enlighten you on or refuse to believe. that is my Opinion

well im sorry for your loss, its not healthy to pretend you're not hurting, its ok to feel, have emotions and let it all out, its what makes us human, and i understand that there is almost nothing we can do about natural disasters, but to say there is nothing we can do about starving children, children dieing because they don't have a warm shelter or roof over their heads, and children dieing because of a common cold or pneumonia is just ignorant and heartless.
