i don't know how some of you guys missed the title of this manga. but i'll tell you right now it's "Naruto". Naruto is the main character of this story, not sasuke, not madara, not hashirama, not the sage, naruto. he is going to be very important to the story, anything that worth while should be about him. like most protagonist, he will still have to work hard to use the power that he has the potential to wield. which is why you have other characters being more skilled than him, or just all around better. but through hard work and determination, he is able to close that gap and overcome. that is the theme that this manga is trying to push, but you are not getting it. sure naruto may be the reincarnation of the son of someone who was hailed as a god, but he is the no talent son. he was the one who was born without the ability to quickly pick up on things, the one who couldn't do anything right, the disappointment. so he of course is gonna be important, he's important to the story as it is HIS story. when you finally realize that it's suppose to revolve around him, the better you will be. it's like nobody has every read a story before, not just manga, stories in general. look no further than Harry Potter, Bleach, Hunger Games, The Matrix, Terminator, the main characters are important and everything that is important most likely revolves around them.
