It's a good idea so the storyline past would make sense to us in the NU present time.

Ok so it Obito is tobi that would us understand why zetzu and tobi have such a good connection. Zetzu must have saved Obito with his spore jutsu or something similiar, and either was given or had taken one of madara's eyes. Which explains why he is afraid of what Kabuto has in one of his reanimation coffins which would most likely be the real madarra.
