I question Tobi's intellegence, you would think a man that has been around as long as he had would have developed some type of personal jutsus, but as we can see he results to using common tool to defeat most of his opponents like konan:

He has in one eye a transplant sharingan and in the other a transplant rinnegan which arnt his. He MADE a CONTRACT to aquire the demonic stautue summon.

Im not saying that hes not strong because obviously what he has nowmakes him dangerous, but HIS only jutsu is space time which cant harm anyone..

so if you take everything away from him that isnt his and leave him in his base form it would seem like someone like Rock Lee could beat him unless he runs away.. shame on kishi for making one of naruto's most terrifying villian a talentless eye stealing sham.. :scorps:

for the weapons:
it depends on how the person manipulates the weapon, even it's as simple as a chain, it can becaome deadly, depending on how you use it. And many characters have gotten things, y aren't u complaining abwt them? :| sasuke got his eyes from itachi, naruto got his kyuubi from his dad.
the clever people develop the resources, the smart ones swoop in and take them, isn't tobi THE PERFECT VILLAIN BECAUSE OF THIS?

I see that he didn't want to waste movement (Chakra) when facing or battling the Fourth Hokage. Only when he battle Konan, who he underestimated, did he want to get his hands dirty, but not to the point where it push himself to the edge. Maybe, Izanagi, but not far to where he went all out.

Also, Tobi skills and abilties are still unknown, but you saying "take them away" is nothing to probably what he is truly capable of.

He is very efficient at using simple jutsu combos effectively. Very similar to Minato. The use of that chain is a very good idea actually.

Well if he is one of the first Ninjas he used Weapons instead of Jutsus.
Or why does Madara Uchiha need that fan when he has a Rinnegan
or Hashirama his arsenal he summons in the fight against Madara although
he only can seal the Kyuubi with Jutsus ?

I think it's just a traditional way of fighting.
It's what Sakura used in the first Episodes like that trunk she used as a trap
or Mifune and Hanzo.
If they had guns they would duel each other.

I think at the moment where Tobi nearly died from Konans plan
he respected her that much, that he used a "fair" weapon
for dueling.

Another Example would be Sasuke vs Itachi.
Both could attack each other with their Sharingan, but
they started the battle with a shuriken attack because that was
one thing that connected both of them.

i do understand that there are other people who aquired things to, but i find it astounding how this guy became as powerful as he is with one harmless jutsus.lol its hilarious

i dont disagree with using weapons, i find it funny thought that back them weapons is all he could use because either he didnt have any other jutsus or is refusing to show it for some reason, but i am pulled more to the not having anything but stn.

Tbh with the sharingan, intangibility and his S/T tech, wtf does he need to use any jutsu for? Why waste time creating or learning jutsu when you already have everything you need to defeat, or hinder even most powerful and intelligent opponents?

Almost all ninja in naruto could easily be killed by Tobi, the only thing keeping people from getting warped into tobi's personal dimension and getting genjutsu'd into a zombie is plot, if I was tobi I'd just hit random villages at night and snatch up ppl while they were asleep.

Tobi had everything he needed to rule the ninja world with just his s/t tech and his intangibility combined with his sharingan, he doesn't even need MS, and his genjutsu is not to be taken lightly.

I don't know why ppl think you need 1000 jutsus to be a threat, and if tobi wanted he could just copy jutsu with sharingan, but it'd be pointless seeing as he could just warp them into his dimension and zombify them.

Konan was strong , and a simple tool killed her.

Easy as that , Tobi has a speciality in melee weapons.

Isn't it obvious why we haven't seen much of tobi's true skill, he himself has not wanted to cause drastic attention to himself. Tobi has been and still is a secret, to say that he is weak because he hasn't shot a flaming rasen shuriken meteor out of his face like an over powered monster is because of the story line... tobi was a mystery and unknown until he announced himself.

Also, just like any real fight, you never use your best moves first.. If tobi wanted to, i'm sure he could have killed minato, but then again that task would have let everyone know that there was someone behind the kyubi attack and tobi would probably not be an issue now because i doubt tobi could have taken on an army of leaf ninja at that point in the manga. However, i think taking all the tailed beasts, putting them under your control, and then using all of them at once is quite a feat...

If you think tobi is weak, you should really think about anyone else who has had that much power under his control... oh wait the So6p. Is he weak to since he was never shown using crazy jutsu?
