Tobi's Rinnegan

Many time i was asking myself why did Tobi needed so much the Rinnegan and finally i understood why.
So the reason he needed the Rinnegan is to gain control of the Gedo Mazo and use it for his Moon eye plan.

What do you think am i right or wrong?

i dunno if its the only reason but im sure its a contributing factor but tobi does not wanna sync with gedo cuz if he did he would not have sent nagato to do it and started preping sasuke for it when nagato died

I think this way becuz he needs the Gedo Mazo to unlock the 10 tails chakra and still he needs somewhere to store that chakra. And the only way to use the Gedo is with Rinnegan.
