[Discussion] Tobis Moon eye Plan and the So6P

We've all heard the name Sage of Six paths. But at first it sounded just like a cool name. I don't think it was ever made point blank clear that he actually had 6 paths (powers).

Confirmed Paths (with reference from manga)

1 path = Senju Hashiramas power. the power madara gained in his fight with him.
sooooo.....the path of senju dna. that traces back to the so6p.

2nd path = madara uchihas power. the power of the uchiha. the dna inherited from the 2nd blood line down from the so6p.

3rd path = nagato/rinnegan. when tobi retrieved the rinnegan from dead nagato he said nagato was of the uzumaki clan. this information is important. how all roads will lead back to so6p.

Tobi as of right now is 3/6 paths. If his goal is this so called "moon's eye" thing. he's working toward the so6p power whatever he's really doing.


Unconfrimed paths.

These remain unkown. Thoughts?

The 10tails could be the 4th path somehow.

That leaves 2 paths.

Also the tailed beats talked to each other during their meating with naruto. The flashback to the so6p. And they all agree naruto is.......something. The new so6p incarnate or something....... Madara also gave a hint that he knew what naruto might be. But he's still confident in his plan.

oh yea i remember now.

When tobi said nagatos rinnegan was the 3rd path. he mentioned nagato was uzumaki.

Nagato was chosen and given those eyes. Uzumaki compatibility with the rinnegan is the hint. and it is also narutos connection to the so6p power.

personally i think naruto gaining THAT kind of power will be ludicrous. but that is the evidence.

Umm... I believe the Six Paths are the six paths of the Rinnegan. It could also refer to the six elemental releases. You should cite your sources, 'cause I'm not so sure they're "confirmed" so much as an opinionated interpretation.

This thing is for sure.. Hashirmas AND madaras power come from sage of the six paths, all i can say, we don't know that much about sage.. but i agree the rest you said, good thread for once lol! + xd:ice:

he's obtaining the rinnegan.

so i could go 1 of 2 ways with this.

either the rinnegan is the 3rd path. or nagato being uzumaki is the 3rd path.

For the sage , the 6 paths had a deeper meaning.

I agree with @narutofactoid, IMO nagatos 6 paths are complete different then that of the Sage. Power wise obviuosly, but how it works I think is also completely different.

Well... we know that the SO6P had the Rinnegan. And we know that the Rinnegan has these powers called "paths". These six "path" techniques were probably the first techniques the SO6P were able to use at first. And that was probably how he got his title.

nagato was not third path. Tobi said nagato was 3rd sage of six paths and he claimed himself to be 2nd sage of six paths. Because they are the 3rd and 2nd persons to possess rikudo sennins power.
Just go and watch anime version of tobi vs konan u'll see clearly in the subs. In manga there were many mistranslations regarding this paths.
We already saw the power of 3rd So6P(nagato). We are yet to see the power of 2nd S06P(tobi).

2. These Six Paths are not people they are abilities.
Tobi states that Nagato is the third Sage of the Six Paths. By this he means that Nagato is the third person to utilized the Rinnegan. The other two Sages are presumed to be The Sage of the Six Paths and Uchiha Madara (this is assuming that Tobi speaks to others as if he is in fact Madara).

The fruits bore from this topic distinguished between the rinnegan as we know it. As we have known it in nagato and now in madara and tobi. From the So6p.
The rinnegan and its paths are a set of powers. But what made the legendary so6p what he is. Are with many more pieces. Scattered through the decendents of his sons. It's not simply "he wasn't as strong."
