Danzo and Obito were in a race to see who could collect the most Sharingan from the Uchiha massacre. One question, if Obito has always been Tobi why did he feel the need to implant a sharingan in his left eye. His mask didn't even have a left eye socket and he later replaced it with a rinnegan.

I'm actually surprised Oro wasn't monitoring the Uchiha when they got massacred so that he could steal some sharingans for himself. Makes sense to me considering the experiments he likes to do and his obsession with the Uchiha.
